About the event
Held every five years at the initiative of the United Nations Statistical Commission, World Statistics Day highlights the crucial role of reliable, timely, and high-quality statistics in informed decision-making and sustainable development.
This year’s celebration recognizes global and national efforts in advancing data systems for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In Viet Nam, the National Statistics Office (NSO), with support from the United Nations, has been leading progress in SDGs data production, dissemination, and innovation.
The event provided a platform to share achievements, strengthen partnerships, and promote the innovative use of statistics for a sustainable and inclusive future.
