VN031- National Senior Consultant for Preventive Medicine Management

Background

Viet Nam has been making a transition from pandemic response toward sustained management of COVID-19. This effort is being governed by the Government Resolution No. 38/NQ-CP on promulgating the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control program for a period from 2022-2023. The GDPM has been assigned as the focal point at the MOH to develop (1) an action plan to effectively implement the Government Resolution No. 38/NQ-CP in accordance with the functions and tasks given to Departments and Institutes under the Ministry of Health; and (2) a scenario-based response plan for prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic for the duration of 2022-2023 and in line with the new situation.

To facilitate the undertaking of the above-mentioned tasks as requested by the Government, with a timely and high-quality outcomes GDPM is seeking WHO's technical and financial support for recruitment of a national senior consultant for preventive medicine management. The WHO Viet Nam country office is kindly requested to support the recruitment to facilitate the undertaking of this important work.
