Call for interest in the development of a fresh mango chain demonstration model!

The Project “Increasing quality and standards compliance capacity of Mango value chain in Mekong River Delta” is seeking expressions of interest from mango export and pack-house businesses as well as related farms/cooperatives to participate in the Project’s development of a fresh mango chain demonstration model.

Participation in the project will essentially give the business an advantage as being a mango export leader to access and begin to develop new market opportunities and enhance the whole chain business efficiency sustainably.

The Project is part of the Global Quality and Standards Programme implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD). It aims at improving market access of exporters of mango to selected target export markets through main following outputs:

• Technical competence and sustainability of the Quality Infrastructure System and conformity assessment services related to export mango value chains enhanced
• Mango export value chain is compliant with quality and standards requirements of target export markets.
• Improved culture of quality for enabling access of mango producers to high-quality export markets.

The project will work with the selected partners that have the capacity to make changes and have a desire to expand into the modern retail system.

We kindly ask you to fill in the attached Confirmation Letter for Expression of Interest and send us no later than 30th December.
