Hanoi, Viet Nam, 13 March 2026 – The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), in partnership with the Ministry of Construction of Viet Nam, has launched the Detailed Preparatory Phase (DPP) of the project “Financing Solutions for the Decarbonization of Viet Nam’s Cement Industry”. The launch took place through an inception workshop at the Viet Nam Institute for Building Materials, which convened key public and private stakeholders to kick off structured dialogue on financing, technology and policy measures needed to advance the low-carbon transformation of the country’s cement sector.
