Ha Noi, 17 June 2016 - The Ministry of Industry and Trade in collaboration with the United National Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), once again organized the third consecutive launch for the Industrial Development Report 2016 (IDR 2016) “the Role of Technology and Innovation in Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development”.
Ha Noi, 17 June 2016 - The Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinated with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization to organize an event for launching the technical assistance project “Support the Government of Viet Nam to develop industrial strategies and related policies through institutional capacity building”. The project is funded by the Government of the Republic of Korea via UNIDO and expected to be implemented in 36 months.

HCMC, June 3-5, 2016 – The U.S. Consulate General in HCMC, the Israeli Trade Mission to Vietnam, UNICEF, DRD, and Fablab Saigon successfully organized a three day Makethon for children with disabilities in collaboration with Israeli non-governmental organization Tikkun Olam Makers. Vietnam-German University in Binh Duong Province hosted the event and provided technical support for the seven teams of engineers and designers who worked around the clock to prototype innovative solutions to help the children with disabilities overcome their challenges. The organizers hosted a celebration event at the Hotel Novotel Saigon on Sunday, June 05, 2016 in HCMC. At the event, the teams had a chance to pitch their products in front of a panel of judges.
